10. The Boy Guardian
A fantastic image of the boy guardian is found in the beautiful tomb of Nefertari. This unusual young man was known to the ancient Egyptians as a tomb guardian and can be identified by his shaved head, which indicates that he was an initiate of the priesthood. His other identifying characteristics are his oblong cranium and naked body. The simulacrum of the boy guardian is seated over the left side of the temple.
