Greetings,
My name is Debbie Johnson and I have many interests, which leaves me a bit scattered, but would have it no other way.  I love pursuing my passions no matter how diverse.  Studying spirituality, ancient cultures, ancient theologies and nature with a specific attraction to ancient Egypt has enthralled most of my adult life.  This interest and passion for learning and seeking answers to long hidden mysteries has taken me on a journey of exploration and discovery. I have been to Egypt eleven times, lecturing on many occasions. By sharing new discoveries and revealing the consciousness found at the root of the ancient Egyptian belief system, others who seek Egyptian truth find personal enlightenment.  Although I am not a very good writer, I am a self published author and enjoy shareing this interest.
My research project presented here in this website, which has been ongoing for 11 years now, involves the connections between Egyptian art, symbology, and mythology when compared to ancient architecture, astral cycles of the sun and moon, and mountain images called simulacra (images that appear in Egypt's mountain cliffs).  Amazingly, the simulacra appear in the likeness of the Egyptian gods, and for people with open eyes and the willingness to accept a new paradigm, suddenly the mysteries of ancient Egypt begin to make since.  By tying together the astral cycles, mountain images, and monumental architecture, the three unite to prove that the Egyptians were both seekers and teachers of the natural world who built enormous structures to honor environmental realities.
Sharing Egypt with others is one of the great joys in my life and I have had the privilege to lead many groups to Egypt since 2005 and look forward to our future tours with past and future friends. Egypt is changing fast as it moves into the modern age, making every journey so very interesting.  My heart holds a special place for this country and its people.  I feel it's location in the world, the politics, and sentiment of the Egyptian people embrace a fragile key for stability in the region and therefore the world.
To make life even more interesting, I have also been working in the fossil business with my husband Tom Johnson for the past 20 years, collecting and preparing trilobites that are now located in many museums around the world. We currently run a rock shop located near the Great Serpent Mound in Southern Ohio and have a link here to share our interest.  It is so stunningly amazing to uncover a sea creature that swam in the ocean 50,000,000 years ago.
As a living however, and means of empowerment to do all these other things, I am currently working as a hair dresser.  I find it great fun, as a people pleaser, to interact and help people feel great about themselves.  Working as a stylist brings out the artistic side of me; it is creative and sometime experimental…lol.

Thank you for checking out my pages.

My favorite link is the Cincinnati Zoo's
Gorilla I-cam.
My mom turned me on to it.  We are both in love with this gorilla family.

This is me and Simba.  I had the opportunity to hold her at the Cairo Zoo.
