15. Horus of Malkata
An image of a bird extending one wing is seen on the southern end of the mountain just above the Palace of Malkata. The image is not always apparent, as it only appears when the shadows on the mountain are just right and is seen from as far away as the East Bank of the Nile. The photograph was taken from Medinet Habu looking southwest and the Palace of Malkata is, just south of Medinet Habu ...the image of the falcon marks the Theban city limits in the south.
