Itinerary

Day 1 (Wed. Oct. 27th) (D)
Arrive New York City JFK International Airport no later than 1:00pm. Check-in terminal #4 for Egyptair’s evening  flight to Cairo, Egypt with meals.  Flight time eleven hours.      

Day 2 (Thu. Oct. 28th) (B,D)
Arrival to the exciting bustle of Cairo, Egypt at 11:15am.  Assistance with  visa and luggage. Our introduction to Egypt begins with the treasures of the Cairo Museum and the most famous Coptic Christian church for St. Virgin Mary, the Hanging Church. Afterwards we Check-in to our hotel for 3 enjoyable nights. Evening gathering for welcome dinner and orientation meeting.

Day 3 (Fri. Oct. 29th) (B,L)
Breakfast.  A full day of Memphis and Sakkara with lunch at the Palm Club. Experience the Old Kingdom Step Pyramid structure of King Djoser and architect Imhotep, the Red Pyramid, and newly opened Bent Pyramid of Dahshur.  Late lunch at the beautiful Palm Club Restaurant before returning to our hotel.

Day 4 (Sat. Oct. 30th) (B)
Breakfast, followed by a tour of the Giza Plateau.  We will look eye to eye with the Great Sphinx and face to face with the three Pyramids of Giza. We have special permission for group private meditation time in the khufu pyramid’s Kings Chamber, access to the queens chamber and subterranean chamber if possible.

Day 5 (Sun. Oct. 31st) (B)
Breakfast.  Late morning flight from Cairo to Luxor.  Arrive in the New Kingdom’s capitol of Thebes modern day Luxor. Check-in to the 5 star Luxor Steigenberger Nile Palace Hotel located on the banks of the Nile, our home for the next three days. Free time before an evening sunset visit to the beautiful Luxor Temple.

Ken Harsh has been leading tours for nearly ten years to sacred sites around the world.  He is a ceremonial leader and shaman, author, and metaphysical lecturer.  Ken has extensive knowledge of ancient mystery schools and the cross-cultural connections of wisdom keepers through the ages.  Ken also owns Karma Crystal, is chairman of the Universal Light Expo, and author of books on mounds, rocks, and spiritual movies.

Day 6 (Mon. Nov. 1st) (B,L)
Breakfast. Drive through scenic fields and mountain deserts by private convoy to experience two very special temples.  Visit the town of Abydos and see the temple of Seti I with its huge granite Osarion, enigmatic images and kings list. Travel on to the Dendera Temple with its astronomical ceilings and attributes to female goddesses such as Isis and Hathor.

Day 7 (Tue. Nov. 2nd) (B)
Breakfast. Morning visit to the Karnak Temple in Luxor, the precinct of the ram god Amun who represents the setting sun.  Visit the lioness statue of Sekmet in her original chapel location. Free time at the Karnack temple and an option to visit the Outdoor Museum connected to the Karnack Temple.  This afternoon we visit the west bank of Luxor and Valley of the Kings with three tombs, Hatshepsut’s Temple and statues of Memnon.

Day 8 (Wed. Nov. 3rd) (B,D)
Breakfast.   Morning flight from Luxor to  Cairo where we connect with our flight to Amman, Jordan.  Transfer to the shores of the Dead Sea and check-in to Movenpick Dead Sea Hotel with dinner.

Day 9 (Thu. Nov. 4th) (B)
Breakfast . Free morning to float and relax in the healing salt waters of the Dead Sea. Drive to Petra with tour of Madaba, St. George Church, City of Mosaics, Greek Orthodox Church near Mt. Nebo. Check-in Movenpick Petra. Dinner, followed by the majestic facade and light show of Petra by night.

Day 10 (Fri. Nov. 5th) (B)
Breakfast.  Full day tour of the “Red Rose” City of Petra carved out of rock cliffs by the Nabateans.  Dinner

Breakfast. 4x4 Bedouin Jeep Tour to see Wadi Rum, the “7 Pillars of Wisdom, Rum Village, Lawrence Well, Nabatean Temple & Khazali. Drive to Amman, with evening
flight from Amman to Cairo.  Check-in Le Passage Airport Hotel in Cairo.

Day 12 (Sun. Nov. 7th) (B)
Breakfast. Morning transfer and departure from Cairo to New York JFK. Arrive New York 3:15 pm same day arrival with new friend and memories to last a lifetime.
